Wild chicory in oil is a delicious preserve based on dandelion (wild chicory) in sunflower seed oil. A delicacy to spread on bread, crackers or combined with cheeses and cold cuts. Original and particular side dish capable of accompanying vegetables, cheeses and meats very well.

Wild chicory is harvested in pristine fields in the months of April, May, September and October. Characterized by an intense green colour, a delicate aroma, a tenacious consistency and a strong flavour, with a vague sense of bitterness. It is a product designed for those who love the wildest and most particular flavors and the simplest and at the same time refined processes.
For the production of this appetizer, fresh, clean and washed wild chicory is used. It is then cut, blanched in a preserving liquid, drained and jarred in sunflower seed oil with garlic, chilli pepper and salt. Pasteurized in a bain-marie, it is cooled, then labeled and stored.
